The Maroochydore Sewage Treatment Plant plays a significant role in the Sunshine Coast’s infrastructure network. It has the capacity to service approximately 100,000 local residents; with an outfall to the Maroochy River. As such, its non-stop operation is of prime importance.
JFP was tasked with providing ultra-precise set out Surveys, to 1mm accuracy, for a conveyor belt that was required to keep the Sewage Treatment Plant operational.
One of the challenges presented by the Survey, in addition to the high level of precision required, was the need to work in Confined Spaces within the live operational environment.
JFP delivered by completing the survey to the accuracy required in close cooperation with the mechanical engineer.
