JFP was one of a number of survey teams assigned to the high profile road tunnel project. By placing a highly experienced team onto the project, JFP was able to complete its component of the survey well ahead of schedule. This allowed JFP to be instrumental in creating the survey model presentation standard for the survey of the entire project.

One of the most challenging aspects of the project was drafting registrable representations of the tunnel geometry. The varying surfaces of the tunnel along its length required JFP to calculate the volumetric subdivision for the survey to the utmost precision. The standard set by JFP for the volumetric surveys on the Clem7 Tunnel Project created a new benchmark for future volumetric surveys on major Queensland infrastructure projects.

JFP’s successful contribution to the Clem7 Tunnel Project suggests that it has the skills and experience to play a positive part on major infrastructure projects well into the future.
