Past project check-in

As landscape designers, we don’t always get a chance to see the final intended result of our work, we see the raw finished product but it is a few years later when the planting design really comes to life. Almost two years after completion, the Goondoon Street upgrade for Gladstone Regional Council project is really coming alive.

The planting is thriving and bringing a lush welcoming ambience, shade and amenity to what was a stark and exposed streetscape, celebrating the tropical character of Gladstone, and inviting the public to enjoy the public spaces rather than hide in the air conditioning. We are really proud of the great result for the community of Gladstone.

Thanks to our clients John Sullivan and John Drobec for their patience and support through the project. Special thanks also to Mitch Lowry for putting in the work and making this great outcome happen.
