New Sunshine Coast Managers Lay Foundation for Bright Future

Following recent retirements, new Managers have been appointed to lead our Surveying and Engineering services on the Sunshine Coast, in Moreton Bay and beyond.

JFP’s new Survey Manager, Andrew Morcom, is a very experienced Cadastral Surveyor. Building on a passion for the outdoors, as a Surveyor, Andrew has amassed significant skill in dealing with complex boundary and titling issue since obtaining his Cadastral Endorsement in 1990.

Formerly with Sunshine Coast Surveying & Planning, notable projects that Andrew has delivered include a vast number of Main Roads Surveys and Rumba Resort. Andrew has been the lead Surveyor on Pelican Waters for many years and draws on the intimate knowledge that he has developed over decades on that flagship project to continue delivering high quality outcomes.

Andrew understands the Sunshine Coast. He relishes the laid-back feel which makes dealing with Clients and other consultants something he looks forward to every day. He states that he also looks forward to working with the JFP team and learning from a supportive group of skilled multi-disciplinary professionals.

Haydn Watson is a Civil + Water Engineer with three decades of experience; including stints with Local Authorities (BCC’s Sewer & Water department), a major consultancy and as a sole practitioner across Brisbane, Moreton Bay & the Sunshine Coast. Haydn has had a 12-year association with JFP, initially as a provider of specialist Sewer + Water Assessments and, since joining us full time in 2018, leading and growing JFP’s Water Engineering offering, in addition to providing general Civil Engineering services.

Haydn’s positive and personable approach, wide ranging experience and local knowledge makes him well credentialled to lead our local Engineering team.

Andrew and Haydn join our existing Associate Director – Planning + Urban Design – Graeme Bews as the leaders of our dynamic, multi-disciplinary team working out of Maroochydore. We have every confidence that this talented trio can lay a solid foundation for a bright future for JFP on the Sunshine Coast, in Moreton Bay and beyond.
