- Provision of innovative civil and stormwater solutions to meet local authority requirements and client expectations
JFP’s extensive experience in stormwater management helped to achieve positive results for the project. Innovative Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) systems were designed to provide effective water quality treatment while having a high quality aesthetic appearance. Stormwater harvesting for internal non-potable use and external irrigation was integrated into the stormwater management system. JFP’s expertise in sewerage design and analysis led to major savings in averting costly external upgrades to service the project.
Engineering design included major roadworks and external intersection upgrades to provide access to the project. On-site car parking to accommodate 690 vehicles was incorporated into the design. Road design incorporated provisions of the Sunshine Coast Council Sippy Downs Town Centre precinct guidelines.
JFP successfully integrated innovative stormwater management solutions into a commercial development. JFP’s engagement with the builder and multi-disciplinary team provided experience gained on commercial developments.
