The Swiss-Belhotel & Peak Apartments project at South Brisbane represents a high quality architecturally designed mixed use building 15 storeys high. Located adjacent to the Mater Hospital precinct, a hotel component was included to provide a high quality accommodation option for short term visitors to the South Brisbane area.
JFP played a significant role in the delivery of the Peak project, from concept to completion, with all JFP disciplines involved. Working in conjunction with Husband Architects, JFP’s Planners, Surveyors, Engineers and Landscape Architects assisted in the design development process, along with obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals.
Working collaboratively with the client, architect and Council, JFP was able to coordinate a staged application strategy, which maximised the approved building height and overall development potential of the site. The use of a volumetric subdivision also assisted in the delivery of a staged titling arrangement. This was important given the mix of long and short term residential uses proposed.
JFP’s knowledge and experience in the area of high density mixed use developments was vital to the realisation of the project and ensured the client brief was achieved.
