MULGUMPIN – MORETON ISLAND BEW EWA PRECINCT

JFP was engaged by the Queensland Department of Environment & Science to undertake comprehensive topographic surveys of the Ben Ewa precinct on Mulgumpin – Moreton Island. The scope included both the Ranger Base and the adjacent Campground, forming part of the Queensland Government’s ongoing commitment to land management and recreational infrastructure.

Despite the remote island location and the challenges of navigating steep, sandy and wooded terrain, JFP’s survey team delivered high-precision data through a well-coordinated and resourceful approach. Each week-long deployment involved boat access and extended fieldwork in a uniquely beautiful but demanding environment.

This project reaffirms JFP’s capability to deliver accurate, high-quality surveying solutions in difficult and remote conditions. Our work at Ben Ewa demonstrates our suitability for similar Open Space + Recreation projects, including those situated in environmentally sensitive or isolated landscapes.
