Gainsborough Greens, Mirvac’s landmark Master Planned Community located at Pimpama on the Gold Coast, took out the prestigious 2021 UDIA QLD Project of the Year Award. The development, which created a community of more than 3000 people, includes a commercial centre, a well regarded Golf Course and the award winning BIM’BIMBA PARK. The Project of the Year award was well deserved recognition for the great work put that Mirvac and their wider consulting team have put into this superb development.

For the last Stage of the development, the 100 lot release know as The Grand Reserve, Mirvac decided to adopt an innovative approach to marketing. A Virtual Tour was created using JFP’s 3D Estate Pilot platform to give prospective buyers the ability to view and interact with the allotments they were interested in purchasing. 3D Estate Pilot combines multiple data sources to create a high-quality 3D Model with a simple user interface.

Commenting on her experience with using JFP’s 3D Estate Pilot, Mirvac’s Development Manager, Emma Birkett, shared that…

“3D Estate Pilot transformed the Grand Reserve purchase experience. In an age where buyers want visuals and information at their finger-tips, the software leverages technology, detailed design documentation and a friendly user interface to simulate the virtual end product. Selling off the plan, it enables purchasers to conceptualize their future home. Buyers can understand the contours, aspect and design of their land & streetscape in a way that is impossible from a traditional 2D disclosure, survey or lot plan. It changed the game for us in off the plan selling and undoubtedly contributed to the success of the Grand Reserve release.”

Importantly, the market seemed to agree with the UDIA’s judges about the Project; with the demand for The Grand Reserve being overwhelming.
