JFP’s multi-disciplinary team played a key role in the delivery of the Aurora Estate project, managing the design, approval and construction phases of this coastal subdivision in the Redlands. Our integrated approach enabled house construction to commence while simultaneously delivering an expansive landscaped drainage reserve and open space area.
The project presented several challenges, including achieving effective drainage from a relatively flat site and delivering a reserve that supports natural water filtration. JFP applied creative and practical landscape and engineering solutions to ensure high-quality outcomes that respected the coastal setting.
Through efficient design and collaboration with stakeholders, JFP achieved a streamlined approval process and early plan sealing. The experience gained in both design and delivery offers valuable insights for future projects involving integrated drainage and open space outcomes within sensitive coastal catchments.
