100 DORSAL DRIVE

100 Dorsal Drive represents a ground breaking Multiple Dwelling proposal in the seaside suburb of Birkdale. Bordering the Aquatic Paradise Estate, the development takes full advantage of the brilliant outlook of the site towards the nearby canals. The proposal includes a total of 18 units, with a mix of 2 and 3 storey terrace homes plus roof top terraces and multiple living areas. The scale, architectural design and finish of the development would make this one of the most desirable addresses in the Birkdale area.

JFP’s Town Planning and Landscape departments were involved in the development of the project including obtaining the necessary statutory approvals. Working with the project architect (Archdiom Design) and client, the proposal improved on a previous development concept for the site and represents a project that the client and consultant team can be proud.

The site presented a number challenges due to presence of Koala mapping and other environmental overlays. JFP’s project arborist was able to successfully negotiate this issue, striking a suitable balance between the need to retain the adjoining site vegetation whilst maintaining the design concept.
