Experience

Shane joined JFP in 2004, after gaining experience as a Development Assessment Manager with Brisbane City Council. Due to his mix of both public and private industry experience , Shane possesses extensive knowledge in the field of urban development. Having worked on a wide range of projects including child care, commercial, multi-unit residential, aged care residential, master planning and subdivisions.

Over his career Shane has developed an enviable reputation among industry peers as a skilled negotiator with excellent knowledge of local authority processes and statutory planning requirements.

Working within multi-disciplinary environments both at Council and JFP, Shane has also developed a deep appreciation of how multi-disciplinary issues can impact the achievement of high quality Planning results for his clients. Shane has repeatedly proven that he is adept at co-ordinating a wide range of urban development proposals from inception to completion.

Shane offers clients considered planning advice based on an understanding of both sides of the Development Assessment Process. Shane constantly uses his varied experience and determined approach to achieve consistent and efficient results for his clients.
