JFP’s Surveyors Continue Delivering on Complex Project

Over the past 12 months JFP have been engaged as the Principal Surveyor, providing construction and certification survey services to QBuild and sub-contractors on the New Youth Detention Centre project at Wacol, in Brisbane’s southwest. This significant state infrastructure project, worth upward of $150M, will expand the state wide capacity for housing of youth offenders; with the aim of keeping them out of the adult prison system. The project is due for completion during 2021.

JFP was assigned the task of providing Survey services after successfully negotiating a rigorous QLD Project Services selection process which required tenderers to highlight their industry experience, personnel depth, capabilities, project understanding and proposed methodologies. JFP has embraced the opportunity to apply its experience and expertise, working closely with QBuild and sub-contractors to assist with a range of construction and quality assurance surveys on this fast moving, complex project.
