SENIOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT - Brisbane

JFP is a long established multi-disciplinary practice with expertise in landscape architecture, urban design, town planning, civil engineering and surveying. JFP has a well established and exciting client base and this stability flows through the company structure enabling JFP to offer a strong work-life balance to its staff.

JFP’s Landscape Architecture team is currently experiencing strong growth and is now looking for an experienced Senior Landscape Architect (7+ yrs) to design and manage upcoming projects and to build their own place within the practice, with the opportunity to grow into the practice Manager position.

The role offers a great opportunity to step into a growing firm at a competitive level and will involve:

  • Design and management of a variety of project types
  • Direct client liaison and consultant coordination
  • Supervision and training of team members
  • Involvement in department management and planning

  • Creative and responsible landscape design
  • AutoCad and Adobe Design Software proficiency

CADASTRAL, GRADUATE or ASSOCIATE SURVEYOR (Brisbane, Sunshine Coast)

Applications are sought for the positions of Graduate, Associate or Cadastral Surveyor in our Brisbane and Sunshine Coast offices. Applicants should possess formal qualifications in surveying and be familiar with residential subdivision surveying using Leica instruments. Familiarity with 12d Model and AutoCAD software packages would be an advantage.

CADASTRAL, GRADUATE or ASSOCIATE SURVEYOR (Central Queensland)

Applications are sought from suitably qualified persons for the position of Graduate, Associate or Cadastral Surveyor based in our Central Queensland Office at Gladstone. Applicants should hold formal qualifications in surveying for work on a wide variety of urban development, industrial, civil construction and infrastructure projects in Central Queensland.  JFP’s wide ranging expertise also offers successful candidates the ability to work alongside other urban development professionals and the opportunity for further future career advancement in the urban development industry.

The role will involve:

  • Cadastral and Engineering Survey on major project sites through Central Queensland;
  • Liaising with clients and allied development consultants;
  • Dealing with Local Authorities and Government Departments;

Applicants should posses the following attributes:

  • Formal Qualifications in Surveying;
  • A sound working knowledge of survey and related legislation;
  • Experience in providing a variety of surveys for a wide range of projects;
  • Enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary development consulting team;
  • Good written and oral communication skills;
  • Familiarity with 12D and AutoCAD software packages would be an advantage;
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision;
  • Sound technical surveying skills.

SURVEY ASSISTANT (Central Queensland)

We seek the services of experienced Survey Assistants or undergraduates progressing towards a qualification in Surveying. The duties of a Survey Assistant include accompanying a Surveyor into the field to assist with the measurement of angles and distances and the placement of Survey Marks. The successful applicants should posses good powers of observation and be able to work accurately and carefully as part of a team.
